Profile

A native of Hardinsburg, Kentucky, Amelia graduated as Valedictorian of Breckinridge County High School in 2018. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Louisville, graduating magna cum laude in 2021. While at the University of Louisville, Amelia served as Vice President of Communications for Alpha Omicron Pi, contributed as a staff writer for the Louisville Political Review, and gained hands-on political experience interning with Governor Andy Beshear’s 2019 election campaign and the Kentucky House of Representatives.

Amelia joined Kellner Green in 2024 as a law clerk while attending the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, where she graduated magna cum laude in 2025. A proud first-generation college and law student, she served as a peer mentor to fellow first-generation law students at Brandeis. Amelia competed on the National Mock Trial Team, sharpening her skills in evidence and trial strategy, and worked with the Ackerson Law Clinic, where she represented domestic violence survivors under a limited practice license, helping them petition for protective orders.

Outside of work, Amelia enjoys baking gluten-free treats, tending to her plants, cheering on University of Louisville sports teams, and spending time with her family and her cat, Stevie.
